What is UV Weathering & Xenon Arc Testing?

UV weathering testing evaluates how materials and coatings respond to long-term exposure to sunlight, heat, and moisture. Accelerated weathering systems simulate years of outdoor environmental exposure in a controlled laboratory environment.

Laboratory Testing (LTI) performs xenon arc weathering testing to assess color stability, coating durability, and material degradation caused by ultraviolet radiation and environmental conditions.

Xenon arc testing replicates the full spectrum of natural sunlight including ultraviolet (UV), visible light, and infrared radiation while controlling temperature, humidity, and moisture exposure to simulate real-world weathering conditions.
