Gas and Vapor Exposure Testing
Accelerated gas and vapor exposure testing to evaluate material durability and corrosion resistance under controlled atmospheric conditions.

What is Gas and Vapor Exposure Testing?
Gas and vapor exposure testing evaluates the corrosion resistance of materials, coatings, and components when exposed to controlled atmospheres containing corrosive gases.
Laboratory Testing (LTI) performs controlled environmental testing to simulate industrial pollution, chemical vapor exposure, and atmospheric corrosion conditions. Test chambers regulate gas concentration, temperature, and humidity to accelerate degradation and evaluate material performance.
This type of testing is commonly used for electrical connectors, electronic components, coated metals, and assemblies that may be exposed to sulfur compounds, industrial pollutants, or corrosive gases during service.
