Large, intricate machinery may be better suited for an on-site calibration that keeps them in process and adjusted to their environmental operating conditions. Is On-Site Calibration for You?

LTI Metrology, located outside Philadelphia, PA, assists businesses in running smoothly with convenient calibration services performed in our lab or on-site within a 125-mile radius. Our expert field technicians can perform on-site adjustments and repairs or supply replacement parts and new instruments. Depending on your service needs, field calibration may be your most convenient option:

Eliminates the inconvenience and risk of transporting large or fragile items.
Minimizes instrument downtime because items can remain in service until calibration.
Eliminates the need to stabilize dimensional instruments for temperature and humidity conditions before calibration. When calibration occurs in an instrument’s work environment, conditions don’t vary as during shipping. Stabilization is vital for consistent measurement readings and accuracy.

However, on-site calibration may not be necessary or applicable for all calibration requests. It can be more costly than shipping small items, while specialty instruments may require lab-bound equipment that precludes field calibration.

Our Lab Accreditations Travel, Too

Our lab is A2LA accredited for calibrating most instruments in the field, and calibration results reported on certificates (including field calibrations) are traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). We can also conduct oven surveys, system accuracy tests, and controller calibrations to meet Nadcap requirements. Automatic reminders for future calibration service are available at the customer’s desired frequency to maintain the reliability of instruments and equipment.
