Metallurgical Testing for Thorough Characterization

Our metallurgical analysis laboratory engineers examine samples to detect surface and internal flaws, determine microstructural features, evaluate heat treatments, and ensure conformance to required specifications. Metallurgical analysis offers microscopic and macroscopic examinations and microhardness testing with state-of-the-art equipment. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM/EDX) equipment provides magnification to 30,000X for microanalysis of microscopic samples and areas of interest. Metallurgical analysis findings and results are documentable using digital imaging microscopes with optical magnification capabilities from 7X to 1000X.
